33. Tales That Teach and Seeds That Grow!
In their classroom kingdom, they found that tales aren’t just for bedtime — they help us grow, care, and understand the world around us. Here are some of their magical moments...
The Sweet Potato Patch
One bright morning, the children went on a trip to plant sweet potatoes. With muddy hands and happy smiles, they placed each little plant into the ground. They learned that taking care of the Earth starts with small acts — like growing food, sharing, and not wasting what we have.
The House of Brave Builders
The children visited the STEM room to carefully take down their block houses — special homes built for the future! Inspired by the tale of "The Three Little Pigs," they prepared for a new challenge: creating roofs that could keep water out. They shared ideas about different materials and will experiment next week to find solutions together, just like the clever characters in their stories.
The Hungry Caterpillar’s Journey
The children continued to explore The Very Hungry Caterpillar. With every page, they learned how stories have a beginning, middle, and end — just like a butterfly's life. Betty’s read-aloud brought the tale to life, and the children talked about healthy eating, wrote new words, and imagined what it’s like to grow and change.
